Classic-Style Home in Del Mar, California
This project in a classic-style home in Del Mar is one of many projects we have done with the home owners over more than 20 years. The important thing the homeowners want is long-lasting quality, and they have kept coming back to me over the years for the high quality workmanship that I am known for. This sets them apart from the world of fast fashion.
The large family room has a built-in bar, book shelves and an entertainment center which is a large screen TV cabinet. Everything is made of solid walnut with crotch grain walnut panels and drawer fronts in classic style detailing.
The doors in the TV cabinet bi-fold open and slide into pockets so they are out of the way when the TV is in use. The corbels are hand carved ecanthus leaves. We custom make our shaper knives for making our moulding details and can make any type of moulding.
The bar, including front and back bar, has stone inset tops and beveled glass upper cabinets.
Styles come and go, and come again, but quality lasts.
